It’s National Volunteers Week and the time to say THANK YOU to each and every one of the volunteers that help make our club so successful at all levels.
Our volunteer coaches alone give 65 hours a week of their own time, that’s over 3,000 a year (and that’s not including competitions!).
In addition to that we have event volunteers, team managers, officials, aquatic helpers, fund raisers, a welfare officer, those looking after kit orders and competition entries, and committee members all working to help the club smoothly and safely.
If you add all of that up, that’s thousands of hours given to supporting the club and the fantastic sport of swimming.
So, again, THANK YOU to all of our volunteers, we think you are wonderful!!
