Club Championships | Additional Info

Arrival- 8.30am – 8.45am

Please enter via the door marked Ponteland High School and wait in the library area until called by a Morpeth ASC volunteer who will direct you to the changing rooms before warm up.

Warm up is at 9am

There will be a volunteer at the changing room doors to sign in swimmers.

It is important that swimmers are signed out at the end of the gala. Please do not leave without being signed out .


There will be a break in the middle of the gala for lunch.

Swimmers should bring with them sufficient snacks for the day and a packed lunch.

This is a peanut free event to help protect our swimmers who have an allergy


Swimmers can meet parents/carers at lunch time.

Younger swimmers should be met by an adult at the changing room doors. The Hive bar and the kiosk next to the soft play will be open for refreshments and it is hoped that the café will open but this is not confirmed.


We have the pool until 5pm. It is not possible to give exact timings but if we think we are running ahead or behind time, we will post an update on fb & website.


Age groups will be 8yrs & under, 9yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs, 16yrs, 17yrs & over.

Swimmers aged 9yrs will compete in 25m Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Freestyle

Swimmers aged 10yrs, 11yrs & 12yrs will compete in 50m Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Freestyle

Swimmers who are 13yrs and older will compete in 100m Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Freestyle

All are heat declared winners.

Medals will be awarded at a presentation evening in January.


Spectators, please queue at the entrance to the first floor spectating area until we are ready to open the doors.

Cost of spectating is £5 - Adults, no charge for children.

A programme will be made available online.


Raffle tickets will be available to buy - The raffle will be drawn toward the end of the gala

We are having a pre-loved kit sale and a tombola.


Please bring change with you


Photographs will be taken and will be available to buy at a later date
